Golden Milk Protein Shake

A traditional Ayurvedic drink made with turmeric.
IngredientsServing Size: 1 servings
1 tsp tumeric paste to taste
2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp coconut oil can substitute with ghee or almond oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 dash cardamom
The recipe is a two-part process. First you make turmeric paste, then you make your golden milk.
Place the turmeric and the water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir continually for 7-9 minutes. It might become too thick, at which point you can add more.
Heat up turmeric paste, almond milk, and coconut oil in a saucepan for 2 minutes, and then pour into your favorite BlenderBottle® shaker cup. Add cinnamon, cardamom and honey and shake to blend!
