Our DIY workout straps and full-body training system is just the thing you need give your home workouts a boost. All it takes is about $20 worth of items you can pick up at any hardware store and 20 minutes of your time. Here's how.
How to Build a Full Body Training System
Build it in 20 minutes for as little as $20.What you'll need
- Hand saw
 - 3/4" x 4" PVC pipes x2
 - Tape measure
 - Lashing straps with cam buckles x3
 - Carabiner
 - Scissors
 
What you'll do
- 
Prepare long lashing strap
 - Trim any attachments from the ends off the long strap
 - Seal the cut edge to prevent fray
 - Measure & cut two 4 1/2" sections of the PVC (these will be the handles)
 - Feed the strap through the pipe
 - Tie a simple overhand knot to form a handle (this is a permanent knot that won't slip)
 - Trim excess material to use for next step
 - Repeat for the other handle
 - Loop strap through grip
 - Seal the cut edge to prevent fray
 - Repeat for the other handle
 - Attach handle to long strap
 - 
Mounting option 1: Door attachment setup
 - Cut a hole through a tennis ball
 - Wrap and tape strap to a screwdriver
 - Feed strap through tennis ball
 - Remove tape and screwdriver
 - Mounting option 2: Attach carabiner for mounting points
 - Loop the end through remaining cam buckle
 - Adjust straps as needed
