Summer's here, and before you know it we'll be celebrating Flag Day (June 14) and July Fourth. It's a season thick with patriotism, paying homage to the red, white, and blue. And just in time, we've launched our June Color of the Month bottle: AMERICA. It's a bottle designed to inspire the patriot in you.

So hoist your flag, pull on your favorite faded blue jeans, crank up the BBQ, and kick off a celebration of the good 'ol U-S-of-A. But before you crack open a cold one, get some protein in your belly with one of these American-style summer shakes.

Let freedom ring or at least let it fill your shaker cup with this red, white, and blue-inspired yogurt shake:

Freedom Protein Shake (Berry Blast)

1/4 cup raspberry yogurt (RED)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (WHITE)
1/4 cup blueberry yogurt (BLUE)
6 oz. water
  1. Add water to your BlenderBottle shaker cup.
  2. Add raspberry yogurt (RED), vanilla protein powder (WHITE), and blueberry yogurt (BLUE).
  3. Shake until smooth.

Nothing pays tribute to an American childhood quite like the flavors of a PB&J. Mix up this shake and let the memories flow:

PB&J Protein Shake

1 tbsp. peanut butter
1 tbsp. sugar-free strawberry preserves
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  1. Add almond milk into your BlenderBottle shaker cup.
  2. Add peanut butter, strawberry preserves, and protein powder.
  3. Shake until smooth.

A summer night by the bonfire isn't complete without ooey, gooey s'mores. Now you can savor the flavors of your favorite Americana treat any time of day:

S'mores Protein Shake

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 of a graham cracker, ground up
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  1. Add almond milk to BlenderBottle shaker cup.
  2. Add ground up graham cracker, vanilla extract, and protein powder.
  3. Shake until smooth.

What's more American than apple pie? This apple pie-inspired protein shake is darn close:

Easy as Apple Pie Protein Shake

1 cup milk
1/2 cup yogurt plain
1/2 cup applesauce unsweetened
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg (optional)
1 serving protein powder vanilla
  1. Add milk to your BlenderBottle shaker cup.
  2. Add the yogurt, apple sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and protein powder.
  3. Shake until smooth.
